📍 NORWAY 🇳🇴 If you've been thinking of taking your children to Norway, honestly... book it today! One of our bucket list places ticked off our list and did NOT disappoint! We took a cruise which was a great option with children, we visited 3 ports Stavanger, Olden & Alesund. We had Haugesund on our itinerary but unfortunately due to bad weather had to sail on by... this just means we just have to book another! 😉🤩 ⬇️ Below are our recommendations on what to do in each port on a P&O Norwegian Fjords cruise with kids... 🏘 STAVANGER • Explore the pretty houses in the old part of town 🏘 • Find the hidden playground between the narrow streets🎠 • Have a whole lot of fun on the GeoPark 🛝 • Visit the Petroleum Museum (honestly, more fun than it sounds!) 🏤 • Visit the chocolate shop Chilli Chocolate 🍫 🏞 OLDEN • Number 1 has to be the @loenskylift An awesome ride, stunning views, when there's snow you can sledge and go in the Igloo! How cool! ☃️ • Briskal Glacier, you can walk the trail up to the Glacier or catch a troll car for part of the trip. This one is probably best for older children who can walk further, but you know your children best... a piggy back is always an option! 🛺 • Watersports, such as paddleboarding and kayaking, again better for older children who are confident in water. 🛶 •A walk along Olden Lake or centre into town, speak to the local residents. They're all really friendly! ☺️ 🦭 ALESUND • The Atlantic Sea Park is a must for little ones! We spent a good few hours here and our boys loved it! Super interactive and was great to see the seals and penguins! 🐧 @atlanterhavsparkenalesund • Explore the town. There are plenty of little shops and houses to see. •Take a Fjordcruise to Geiranderfjord, see stunning sights of the Fjords and spot the local wildlife 🦅 • Climb the steps or take the land train to the view point! 📍 L O N D O N 🇬🇧 What a fab day with this beautiful lady ❤️ Can't wait to do it again! We jumped on a train to St Pancras 》Hopped on the Tube to Humble Crumble! 😋 and had a walk around the markets 》Went to Google/YouTube HQ! 》L hit the shops 🛍 》Then we made a dash to The Ivy, Covent Garden. What a view! This is way at the top of the list of one of the most stunning places on earth. The boys have had so much fun in the snow and we've all had lots of laughs, especially when we nearly got wiped out by a rogue sledge! 🛷 We had to dive into the snow so we didn't crash!... Make sure you always get travel insurance folks! 🤣 ... No seriously 😧 (P&O insists you have travel insurance to board). If you're looking to book the @loenskylift yourself or if P&O's trip is fully booked, get to the Olden Adventure kiosk outside the ship as early as you can, we bought our tickets and was up on the mountain before 10am. When we left (around lunchtime) the queue to board the skylift was pretty long. Not sure how fast the queue moves but the lifts are up and down constantly. Next stop is Alesund tomorrow, can't wait but I sort of don't want to leave Olden 😢 Definitely need to come back @olden_adventure #olden #loenskylift #pandocruises @pandocruises

Running away from Monday be like!.... 🌊😆 . While we're away we always like to find places which are a little less busy, a little more authentic to the country we're visiting and places of beautiful nature. . Praia São Rafael did not disappoint, a beautiful beach tucked away with stunning rock formations and caves. There's a beach bar to the main beach and a gorgeous restaurant to the little hidden cove beyond. We enjoyed the friendly hospitality and view of the waves crashing into the rocks whilst the grown ups enjoyed a drink or two and the children tucked into icecream. 🍨 . We will definitely consider staying here in the future and would urge anyone to visit, it's only a short taxi ride from Albufeira and so so worth it. We had a really nice walk on top of the cliffs too, a bit scary close to the edge but safe if you stay further back and hold on to younger children.
