Chances are I’m not going to finish this but it was so fun to make and plate. As someone who did not grow up eating or liking grits until I was in my 30s, I decided that there has to be a way I can make this and love it. Turns out all I needed was chicken stock, bacon, a minimum of three cheeses (two types of cheddar plus parmesan), scallions, parsley and mini heirloom tomatoes. Can’t forget the garlic because why would we not have garlic. Also, never fry my shrimp for this dish. Anyways here’s to Saturday mornings. #seetouchtastecooks #whatsforbreakfast #goodeats
In the event that I don’t get to capture this outfit with a more scenic background like a normal content creator . Also, I had the day off and the weather was acting right so I’m outside #weoutside #whatiwore #contentcreator #styleinspiration Dress: @thefrankieshop Tank & shorts: @hm Sandals: @madewell Bag: @poloralphlauren Sunglasses: @tods
If you didn’t see my stories from earlier today, I will only be serving up food content from within the confines of my air conditioned apartment until this heatwave subsides. That being said, here is a shot of one my comfort foods - tomato soup. The @traderjoes roasted red pepper tomato soup is one of my favorites. I made some quick and easy homemade croutons using sourdough, olive oil, garlic, salt and rosemary. Popped that into the air fryer for about six minutes. I still had some leftover burrata so I added that for extra creaminess and garnished with a few fresh basil leaves and a dash of parmigiano reggiano. #theresfoodathome #seetouchtastecooks
At first I was only going to add this to stories, but this #narasmith coded breakfast deserves to be in the feed. The Parmesan chive scrambled eggs on garlic-rubbed San Francisco sourdough, the thick cut bacon with sliced English cucumber, mini heirloom tomatoes and avocado topped with lime and chili flakes? I definitely was in a mood this morning. #goodmorning #breakfast
This serum is effective in improving or maintaining your skin tone with 2 forms of vitamin C to help fade dark spots for a more even appearance. It strengthens your skin’s barrier and provides additional moisture with the the inclusion of niacinamide and squalene. With daily use, I saw significant reduction in my brown spots and overall my skin looked and felt hydrated within a month. Although this has a significant amount of vitamin C—coming in at 12 percent, it is packed with other ingredients including salicylic and hyaluronic acid to minimize future breakouts while hydrating the skin for a smoother, blemish free complexion.
Don’t let the lower price point fool you, these products definitely hold their own to the those with higher-end level prices. The consistency is definitely thicker than most lip oils currently on the market in that it actually lasts on the lips, but it definitely gives the appearance of a high shine gloss without the stickiness. If I was to compare the finish to another foundation, I would say it’s comparable to the Pat McGrath Skin Fetish Sublime Perfection Foundation—and that’s saying something especially since it’s a third of the price. Generally speaking, I prefer a loose setting powder but this formula is so finely milled that when used with a fluffy brush is practically undetectable and sets foundation and concealer like a dream.
Formulated without water, this blend of oils including calendula and avocado oils melt into the skin and protects the skins barrier leaving it supple and hydrated. In the morning after my shower, I go in with my regular body butter and then as a way to lock in the moisture, I use a small amount of this (a little goes a long way). I keep one on my desk (yes, I bought two) during the day and use once or twice a day to moisturize in between my fingers. I really enjoy this product and I bought two tubes because I thought it was going to be a limited-edition product.
I’ve had a sprinkling of all three (though not extreme) and over the course of the past few months, I developed a solid morning skincare routine. I’ve been using these products daily for about six weeks to two months and one thing that I will say is that sticking to this routine every morning actually helps me start my day and be more productive because it’s easy to fall into a rut when you WFH. The Sweet Chef Oat Milk Latte Cleanser that although marketed as a makeup removing cleanser, it is a very gentle non-stripping cleanser that lathers well and leaves the skin feeling refreshed. I have tried it with a tinted moisturizer, a CC cream, and a foundation and it never changed the color or finish of my complexion products and did not pill underneath.
