Happy 33rd Birthday to the best daddy and husband we could ever ask for! We’ve come a long way since high school. I can’t believe we’ve known each other for half my life now and we’ve been together for a quarter of that. You get better with each year that you get older and I love growing with you.

What’s one thing from 2020 that you’re taking along with you into 2021? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ For us, it’s books and reading. I’ve read more unassigned books this year than I have ever in my life. For Giuliana, she’s always loved books and having me read to her. I’m so happy to have discovered @literatikids. It’s a monthly book subscription that sends you 5 age-appropriate books to your little one. You can keep them all or send back the ones that they weren’t a fan of.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It’s been by far my favorite subscription. They’ve sent us a variety of books from nature to diversity and inclusion. It keeps our bookshelf fresh, interesting, and on a good rotation.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #literati #literatiambassador

It’s our dating anniversary! Yes, today on Christmas! 8 years ago, Steve asked me to be his girlfriend. We’d been seeing each other since the Summer of 2012 and I told him I was looking for something serious and that if he wanted to be exclusive with me that he’d have to ask me out. It took him until the end of the year and driving around my parent’s block with sweaty palms and a Tiffany & Co. necklace but he finally did it and now we have a beautiful family of 5, or more literally, family of 4 and a dog, just in case someone might be wondering otherwise.

Giuliana has been potty trained now since October of last year at just a little over 2 years old. We recently took the plunge over the summer and pulled the plug on her nap time diaper. Now all that’s left is her night time diaper. We’ve tried a couple times to see how she’d do without her night time diaper and decided that we’re not ready to conquer that level.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So, here we are still in diapers but one a night isn’t so bad. We love our @abbyandfinn.co diapers! They’re great quality and we haven’t had any leaks! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ P.S. We’re Californians over here so maybe I’m complaining about 50 degree weather being cold but it’s cold! We’re staying indoors and Giuliana is showing Kayla around the big city. Giuliana has been such a good girl this year and has made it on the nice list once again.
