For this look, I added this stunning crop top with statement sleeves to a simple black saree and paired them with a corset belt to create a sleek vibe. Try and pair your sarees with unexpected items like a corset belt to create a chic and edgy look. Matching the color of the saree to one of the colors in the dress pulled the whole look together and kept it fun! Since this was a cut-out dress, I loved experimenting with tucking the saree through my dress as opposed to over the dress.
After trying to go vegan and often times becoming deficient in many vitamins, I finally feel like I am able to thrive on a plant-based diet with proper vitamin and mineral supplements. However, these foods below help me to add that extra boost of nutrition and ensure that I am getting enough vitamins and minerals in my diet. It has 20g of plant protein, 9 superfoods, and is a multivitamin with half of the daily recommended value of selenium, vitamin C, D, E, A, Thiamin, and 35% of iron. Just another reminder that together we CAN make a difference in what’s happening in this world. Staying silent or neutral is not an option anymore because #BLACKLIVESMATTER The injustice, pain, and systemic oppression our African American brothers and sisters have been facing for 100s of years is something we CANNOT ignore. It is OUR responsibility to stand up against injustice. I’ve been taking the last few days to actively engage in conversation about this matter to my parents, friends, and loved ones. To encourage each other to actively be ANTI-RACIST, instead of being just “not racist”. It is important we teach ourselves what the history books may have skipped. Learn about the privilege we have, learn about who paved the way for you to be here. The last few days have been a huge reminder for me that I haven’t nearly be doing enough as I should be. As someone with a platform, it is my duty and responsibility to “influence” those around me for the good. I cannot choose to not be “political” in fear of what hate will come my way. I choose to stand on the right side of history #blm If you’re an influencer or someone with a large platform, please I’m begging you to use it for the good & spread awareness! Again, I urge you to LEARN...educate yourself if you do not know. Acknowledge the privilege we have to be able “learn” about these injustices rather than experience them daily. This video I posted is sparking a lot of conversation on Tiktok 😭😂 There’s really no comparison between south and North Indian food as it’s SO different....each region has amazing cuisines and are both incredible in their own ways! My mom made dinner for the family using these banana leaves! (She has a banana tree in her backyard 🌱✨) This dish is called a “Sadhya” in my language & it’s one of my favorite things in the entire world! It’s normally vegan/vegetarian so that’s a plus 🤩 Of course this is a little different from a traditional sadhya as we just made it for dinner, but swipe to see sadhya we normally eat for Onam and other special occasions! 🤩😍 Have you ever tried this before?
