Hello! Welcome to Style Her Lovely! My name is McKenna Herzog and SHL is an online diary where I document all things fashion, lifestyle, beauty, travel, and shop. Style Her Lovely began as a place for me to share my personal style and daily outfits.
After years as a professional dancer and teacher, I stepped down to take on the new role as Mommy. Style Her Lovely was born soon after when our family moved from Chicago. I wanted a creative outlet to share my personal style and connect with new people.
After 3 years, Style Her Lovely has become a place I share fashion-sense, family life, beauty tips, and travel on my journey as a twenty-something wife and mom making sense of life one day at a time.
I currently live in Seattle with my husband Mark, and our three kids Zoey, Asher, and Drake. Family life always comes first, so when I have some free time I love working on my blog, Style Her Lovely.
My favorite saying is “happiness is a choice and everything else is a matter of perspective.” Writing this blog gives me joy and I am very thankful to my readers for giving me the opportunity to do what brings me happiness everyday.

The food, drinks, and ocean view you can’t beat. Make reservations in advance @ around 6pm to catch the sunset 5. @thefreshshave - fresh fruit and organic shaved ice 🍧 it’s like nothing else. Looking for the best Easter basket ideas that kids will love? I am sharing my kids favorite toys by age, and what I filled our family’s Easter baskets with this year. The preschool age basket ideas I included below are toys my son loves! Also included the Easter basket toys we got for him this year.
In these two recipes (recipes below) we used our favorite Tree Top products: Tree Top Organic No Sugar Added Apple Sauce and Pure Pressed Sweet and Tart Apple Cider. Our family loves Tree Top products because they always use natural, simple ingredients, and we know exactly where the fruit is grown in the heart of the Pacific Northwest. In a large mixing bowl, add the Tree Top Apple Sauce cups, vegetable oil, brown sugar, and eggs. Add the remaining dry ingredients to the muffin batter: All purpose flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

In true hotel fashion we treated ourselves to fun late night movie watching, a wide variety of snacks, and lots of family games. Hyatt Regency Bellevue offers a variety of fabulous dining options which include a couple restaurants located inside the hotel. As an added bonus, the Hyatt Regency is within close proximity to Bellevue Downtown Park and the beautiful Bellevue Botanical Gardens.
Asher’s former bedroom seemed small and dark with his queen bed crowding the space, dark walls, and multiple pieces of furniture. We updated the space first with fresh white paint on the walls in Behr’s White Moderne. We chose his light wood, low double bed with its continuous low shelving frame to optimize space, storage, and accessibility while visually making the space appear larger. Pottery Barn Kids has a large variety of art prints perfect for boys and girls rooms that can layer on acrylic bookshelves or hang independently by themselves.
