This one easy peasy cocktail is for strawberry lovers like me. I have this thing for red drinks! ⭐️ muddle 2-3 strawberries with mint leaves ⭐️ to the muddled fruit, add lime juice and white rum. Just an imperfect picture of me to say hi and tell a story! I keep getting this question - why do I post pictures of my balcony so much? We have completed one whole year in this house. And this country. Now, that is another milestone we celebrated amidst the pandemic. In the recent years, this house has been the only place which has seen me at one place for so long! Otherwise, being a wanderer or a consultant always kept me on my toes. And like many of us, it has been a tough time being inside, away from people and family. Had things been different, I would have had made a couple of new friends, explored this country a bit more and probably would have paid a visit to my family too. Life took a pause for a few months, thanks to covid19. And this balcony served as my window to the world. Its my space to get that whiff of fresh air. Or the space where I can contemplate about life choices and decisions. Or the space where I run to when things get overwhelming because the world outside is getting meaner and hateful with every passing day. This is the small space which keeps me connected to myself when I need to. Hence, so many pictures! We all have our favourite corner in our homes. An open space was never my kind of ‘favourite spot’! Three Bells of Fira is the iconic church of Santorini characterized by white walls, blue dome, three bells and picturesque views. Santorini is much more than its pristine white buildings and blue domes. While most settlements are on the volcanic caldera, many striking beaches are far away from its iconic colors. While the volcanic island is all about black solidified sand and pebbles, the Red beach presents a rare landscape. You don’t go there by boats or cars but you walk along a wild path which leads to the stunning panoramic view of the Red beach and the turquoise blue waters. When we visited last year, the hike was closed because this place is prone to landslides.
