The real story: I'm a young twenty something that fell in love with her middle school crush and we recently married. On our first date I told him the first chance I got that I don't want kids, just pets, and I just want to travel every second I can. Thankfully he agreed. Problem is, I don't make a ton of money as a server, but I save, budget, and make the most out of weekend trips in my home state. I went to Ireland when I was 22 and couldn't believe I only left my self 6 days to explore it. It was an amazing experience. My Goal: I want to teach people that they can travel. You don't have to make six figures to explore the world. If you're smart with your funds you can save up enough to witness the beautiful creation that is our planet.

I went through all the stages of grief in the beginning of the week and have finally arrived at acceptance this afternoon after my boss told me that I have a couple weeks off. ’s been so long since I went camping, about a year and a half ago, and it’s about damn time! * Finish the Blackthorn and Grim Series by Juliet Marillier and then probably restart the Throne of Glass series because I kind of forgot where everything left off and who is who…Ooops Bout Damn Time is a beer that Bad Daddy’s, my old job that I love and miss, had/has ( I don’t know!
gone through all the name change and DMV process sooner, and I should have suggested to my husband that he just drive my car to work instead, but this being the first time that I have ever made an out-of-state move in my adult life, I had no clue. When we got to California, we put our junk in a couple storage units, thanks to the help of my mom again, and made preparations to head back to Colorado to get our fur babies and my husband’s car. The trip back to California was smoother, but half the trip our oldest cat kept getting car sick and then stressed out each time we were in a different motel room that we barely got any sleep those few days. We barely did it in time and with the Mustang being classified as a “luxury” car by the government, registering it wasn’t cheap.
A CD has a maturity date and you cannot access those funds before that date without being penalized, but they do have higher interest rates than general savings accounts. It is crucial that you don’t touch your emergency fund unless you absolutely need to. Right now I’m saving to go to Greece in a couple years, but that’s not coming out of my emergency account fund. Our plans for the day were to shop around and then get groceries for a few days, but the guide from Godfrey Tours offered to take us on the tour, take us to the grocery store and take us back to out condo on the other side of the island. The edges of the beach are lined with jagged rocks where snorkelers can swim with an assortment of beautiful fish, gaze upon corals, sea anemones, and urchins. We didn’t get a ton of time here on the tour, but we came back Monday and got a good chance to enjoy the beach and the fish. There were fish that were purple and yellow, blue yellow and white, blue tangs, aminals that looked like large millipedes crawling around the rocks, and large, brown and white fish.
