This section of Priscilla Shirer’s book, Discerning the Voice of God, really jumped out at me one morning a few years ago. In the dark places, we can’t see the handiwork of God, but just like a seed, there is something going on beneath the surface. I was a complete control freak until God got a hold of me and showed me that in trying to control and plan everything, I have a tendency to mess things up. I think it’s natural to want to know what the exact plan is…so we can plan each step for it.

When I tell you that you need to watch this sermon, I am serious. If you are believing for something and not seeing it, you have to watch this! Faith is believing in what is unseen. But truth be told, when you keep believing and you don't see anything, it gets hard. That's when it is true faith. If you can see it, it's not faith.🙏 ... After saying goodbye to one of our precious fur babies, I never thought I would rescue another one so soon...but God. 🙏 I only went in the pet store to buy guinea pig food, but my sister wanted to look at the rescue cats. It was at that moment that this fur baby looked into my eyes and I knew. God meant for me to bring him home. He is so much like my first cat Eastwood, while so much his own, unique personality. It was a great first night and then he became very sick with a respiratory virus. Thankfully, God healed him and he is happy and healthy. 🙌 See, you never know when the Holy Spirit will speak to you. Sometimes it's not a small, still voice. Sometimes it's in the eyes of a sweet animal waiting for a loving home. 🏡 Blessed family, meet Toby. Sometimes blessings come in ways we never imagined.
