Nashville, you’re the only ten-i-see. 🧡 When Adam and I ran away to Music City I wanted to make sure we not only got to explore outside of Broadway but also got some great pictures with both of us in them. Enter @photowalknashville! We did the 12South tour and we got to walk around the cutest neighborhood while our tour guide Gina gave us tons of recommendations and took our picture at some of the most iconic Music City backdrops. The hour tour didn’t take up too much of our day and we got some of the best vacation pics we’ve ever gotten! This would be perfect for a girls trip or even family photos! Finally took the plunge and visited the Bayou with Tiana and her friends! While it is well known that I don’t love big drops I braved the mountain to see my favorite characters finally get their due. I will say that I absolutely loved it! It was such a cute ride, the animatronics were next level and even the queue had so much to look at! I didn’t love how much wetter I got than I did on Splash Mountain but even that would be fine with proper planning! Either way, I can’t wait to go down to the bayou again! Now… who do I talk to about getting a Louis meet & greet?

Stepping out of the classroom, I’m embarking on a new adventure as a Staffing Specialist! After over a decade and a half in education, spanning grades from Kindergarten to post-graduation, most of which was in Self-Contained ESE, I’m ready to dive into a role focused on paperwork and organization – something I’ve always loved. I will be running IEP and Gifted meetings, making sure students get all the services and accommodations that they need in order to get the most out of their education. This is something I’m super passionate about and I’m so very excited (and nervous!) to get started in August! While I’m thrilled for the new challenges and opportunities ahead, there’s a bittersweet feeling as I bid farewell to the incredible students I’ve had the privilege to teach. Each one has left an indelible mark on my heart. This photo captures a moment at the oldest wooden schoolhouse in America, a poignant reminder of the rich tapestry of experiences I’ve had in education. Here’s to new beginnings, embracing change, and cherishing the memories of the classroom!

The wait has been un-BEAR-able! The Country Bear Musical Jamboree officially has an opening date - July 17th! Here’s what we know so far: 🐻 Revamped costumes! We saw the Sunbonnet Trio go from their signature blue dresses to some super sassy pink and white cowgirl outfits in a reel from @disneyparks a few weeks ago. Now we see that Big Al and Wendell have had a glow up as well! Can’t wait to see what they have in store for the rest of the pack. 🐻 All new songs! We know that Trixie and Bunny, Bubbles & Beulah will be singing Try Everything from Zootopia with @emilyann_music implying that this number kicks off the show. Wendell and Teddi Barra (voiced by @allisonrussellmusic & @christhile) will be singing A Whole New World from Aladdin. There will be a bluegrass cover of Bare Necessities from the Jungle Book but it hasn’t been confirmed who is singing it. (I think it might be my love, Big Al, or the Five Bear Rugs!) The music is coming from Country Legend @macmcanally so I’m really excited to see his take on these songs we know and love. 🐻 A familiar tune. Disney has stated they’re leaving one of the songs from the CBJ in the updated show. They haven’t said which one yet but I’m guessing it will be Davy Crockett or High on the Mountain Top (the finale number from the original show). What do you think? The more information that comes out about it, the more excited I get. Sure I’m going to miss me some Blood on the Saddle and Tears Will Be the Chaser for Your Wine but I think this revamp will bring more families into Grizzly Hall and introduce the bears to a whole new generation of fans.
