Our little baby girl is growing up so quickly 😭. She just turned 1 month old a couple days ago! It’s crazy to see how big Rhenn is getting in a month, but the really insane part is how fast that month seemed to fly by😮. It’s been a busy month for my nugget! She’s had some great doctor visits, been on a few trips out & about with mom and dad for errands, and has gotten to spend lots of time with the grandparents on both sides. I can’t wait to watch you continue to grow, maybe just slow down a little bit 🩷

👶🏼Yesterday my little monkey celebrated her first week with us, & got to experience a lot of big firsts this past week: - first weight check & first pediatrician visit - first time meeting dogs, and Koda seems to be Rhenn’s favorite - first time getting a bath at home - first time going to stores with mom & dad - first time visiting the @wolfforthfarmersmarket This week has been a blur with how quickly it’s moved, but it has been one of the best times of my life. You are so loved, little Rhenn Carter Hauck, and I can’t wait to have a lifetime of firsts with you as a Girl Dad 🩷

Our baby girl was brought into this world on July 2nd, and Rhenn Carter Hauck is the best birthday gift I could ever ask for🩷 This has been the best July & most amazing birthday I could ever have. Baby Rhenn was born on my birthday, which makes being a Girl Dad even more surreal! I can’t wait for a lifetime of birthdays with you, my little nugget. You changed my life in an instant and my entire world already revolves around you. I hope everyone had a wonderful Fourth of July! 🧨We spent the holiday bringing our little firecracker home & getting her settled in. Their first Lubbock location (Milwaukee Ave) opened in 2016 & their second Lubbock location (Slide Rd) just recently opened! The Plaza has some delicious Tex-Mex recipes utilizing fresh ingredients, and they craft some tasty cocktails & margaritas🍹. I’m a huge fan of their Fajitas, which are served hot & sizzling! I get the steak & chicken combo, served with their homemade flour tortillas 🔥. The Plaza offers margaritas made from scratch on the rocks or frozen, and a few different flavor variations! Even if you aren’t staying at The Cotton Court, Midnight Shift is a great option for any meal out or to grab a few drinks at the bar 🥃. Choose from a table/bar seat indoors, or grab a spot on their gorgeous patio. Being part of the @valenciahotelcollection , the Cotton Court strives to provide a memorable escape for all visitors. I’ve had the pleasure to stay here multiple times during my travels before moving to Lubbock, and now the Cotton Court is my go-to pick for an in-town staycation destination. The wife & I both love staying here! The hotels design is based off the history of the area & showcases some of Lubbock’s historical cotton warehouses, but they offer modern amenities. 📍Save this for one of Austin’s best burger spots!🍔 @casinoelcaminodowntown is located right in the heart of Downtown ATX on East 6th St, and makes some of the best burgers in town. Casino El Camino is a 2 floor bar & grill that gives off true dive bar vibes, with a neat back patio. They were featured on @guyfieri ‘s Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives! You may have to do a few laps to find parking or park in a garage downtown, but the food is absolutely worth it.🍔 A few things I love about Casino El Camino besides their incredibly tasteful, juicy burgers: 📝- daily specials that are unique & delicious 🌃- open 7 days a week & the kitchen is open late (1:30am) 🍗- some of the BEST Buffalo wings & fries in town.
