I was a military brat at the age of 3 and spent my childhood years in places like New York (my birthplace), Texas, Germany, Colorado and North Carolina. We visited places like the Alexandria Library (Bibliotheca Alexandrina), The Pyramids of Giza, The Egyptian Museum, Luxor Temple, Karnak Temple, Valley of Kings and the Nile River. We walked the cobblestone roads of the colonial historic district, went on a pirate treasure hunt, visited the Plaza De Armas (main square in San Juan) and the Ballaja Barracks. We took a boat tour on the River Wallace (also known as the Rio Wallace) and learned about wildlife and Belize’s native fruit (Sapote).

We decided to plan a weekend getaway around the game and came across Shell Island Resort in Wrightsville Beach, NC. Shell Island Resort is a family-friendly, all oceanfront suite resort and it is nestled on the northern tip of Wrightsville Beach, Shell Island.
