Last year we caved…a little red and white elf appeared in our kitchen and returned each night until Christmas Day when he returned to the North Pole. Elf on The Shelf can be a lot of fun, but also time consuming. I caught it before it was covering the whole couch, but it still was quite a shock to see our fairly new couches written on with black ink pen.
