I recently received an invitation to attend LA’s fairly new attraction called “Stranger Things: The Drive-Into Experience” from the hit Netflix TV show, “Stranger Things.
There weren’t many menu choices, so we chose the pretzel package, which came with two pretzels, cheese, and a drink (which, to be honest, wasn’t any better than bad school food
As we drove in further, we were asked to change the radio station to 95.3 FM, and the “strange” narrative show began.
The only thing I personally appreciated was the actors, actresses, and employees ‘ hard work and maybe a few scary jumps (one was a warning from the security to stop recording and another few from the characters dressed up as the Russians.
At the end of the whole tour, I thought to myself; I could’ve entertained myself at home with all the things that they had set up at different levels of a parking lot, while my guest, on the other hand, who did watch the show agreed with me and have made her own remark by saying, “this would’ve been better with a lover on a date.”
Overall, my friend was glad to have experienced it but said she wouldn’t do it again.
