🎨The color wheel plays a big role in how you develop a color palette for your brand. There are three different color combinations that can be formed typically. 🍒🫖🛑Monochromatic color palettes include many tints and shades of a single color. They are soft and subtle, but they can often make brands appear washed out because they lack contrast. 🍇🫐🧥Analogous color palettes involve colors that sit next to each other on the color wheel. They’re related - a family of colors - and they create a pleasing, relaxed palette. Analogous color palettes usually include all cool colors or all warm colors. 🌸🍑🧩🌱Complementary colors are opposite each other on the color wheel, so complementary palettes often include both warm and cool colors. Not only does this type of color combination create more dimension, but it also creates balance. Testimonial from my first client I ever took on. I had to rush around like mad panicking about how to onboard and do a design briefing. I didn't a day just researching what to do and rehearsing it. Now I don't really panic, but it's crazy to think how much I did with my first client. #testimonial #firstclient #firstclients #brandinginspiration #branddesigner #branddesign #brandingdesign #brandidentity #logoinspirations #logodesigner #logodesigns #graphicdesigner
Branding color palette gradients. Here's an example of how your color palette is set up in gradient style as they're the shades you would use. Set them up from darkest to lightest, and then begin fading them as you can see I have done. Typically you'll want to choose 3-4 colors when choosing your color palette. Make sure to choose a primary color, secondary, and neutral color that way they can all compliment each other.
