Carrot cake muffins 🥕 gluten free + dairy free! 2 cups grated carrots, from 2 medium-sized peeled carrots 1 cup unsweetened applesauce 2 large eggs ¼ cup avocado oil 1/3 cup maple syrup 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 2 cups gluten free flour 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder 1 teaspoon baking soda ½ teaspoon salt 1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon ½ teaspoons ground ginger ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg ½ cup raisins ½ cup chopped walnuts Preheat oven to 350 degrees F Combine carrots, applesauce, eggs, avocado oil, maple syrup and vanilla. In a separate bowl combine dry ingredients: baking powder, baking soda, gluten free flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, salt. Mix well. Add dry to wet ingredients, do not over mix. Add in raisins and walnuts. Bake for 16-19 minutes. Option top with df cream cheese frosting or your favorite nut butter! YOUR NERVOUS SYSTEM ! Stress resilience is the ability for your body and mind to handle stressors. You want to build this stress resilience so that you can keep your hormones healthy, happy and keep your symptoms at bay. To build that stress resilience you want to work on regulating your nervous system daily. When you are living in a chronic state of stress there are many things in your body that become compromised. Digestion, nutrient absorption, enzyme secretion, indigestion, increased inflammation. Causing symptoms like PMS, missed/late periods, mood swings, anxiety, acne, and fatigue. Let’s face it, with the world we live in today, stress is inevitable. Not all stress is bad, but lets create a routine of bringing the body back to calm when things get built up and remember to come back to our breath and let our nervous system and body know we are safe. When STRESS comes up USE IT. Go on a walk. Do some air squats. Step outside for some fresh air. Let yourself BREATH, 3 deep belly breaths. OVULATORY PHASE🤩 This is the phase of: Connection, Energy, Increased Libido, and typically the phase where you feel your best! This phase takes place days 14-18 of a regular 28-day cycle.
