A Bohemian Eco Fashion & Solo Travel blogger.I am a vegan, eco-conscious solo travel blogger. I am an advocate for sustainable fashion, travel and women empowerment. I have been solely exploring this earth now for several years. I want to inspire others to break free and embark on a never-ending journey to themselves.
Otherwise, you can get the metro for super cheap (£2-3) but with my luggage and a 13-hour flight, I really couldn’t be bothered with that! I arrived in Bangkok around 8 am after a long flight from Copenhagen, I stayed in Asoke Hotel which was fine because it was near to the metro which I would really recommend. I stopped at a little coffee shop on the side of the road and I then headed to May Veggie for some ridiculous vegan food. I wanted to head to a night market for my last night, I chose to go to Train Night Market.
Fast forward to actually getting to Koh Tao around 7 hours later, my good friend whom I met several years ago whilst traveling solo now owns resorts in Koh Tao called Good times. Try the vegan fish and chips and the cauli wings with a glass of beautiful red ( the best I found on the island) Big Tree cafe – Set in a gorgeous garden Big Tree has the best avocado toast on the island and the staff are so friendly! A good option for breaky and good coffee, the wraps are huge and delish!
Arriving in Copenhagen around lunchtime we headed to the most insane vegan burger place called Souls Me and our Rosie love to half stuff We had been told to check out this vegan cafe called cafe bla for their brunch platter. We also stumbled across a super cute inside food market called Torvehallerne with loads of yummy treats. One of the main reasons I wanted to go to Copenhagen is to visit the hippie free town of ‘Christiania’ it intrigued me because it is an intentional community and commune of about 850 to 1,000 residents, covering 7.7 hectares in the borough of Christianshavn in the Danish capital city of Copenhagen.
During my time living in Bali, I really saw the mess that parts of Bali were in due to plastic and from that, I have spent the last year devoting my time to include more ethical practices in my life. The annual footprint of a household’s newly bought clothing, along with the washing and cleaning of its clothes, is estimated to be equivalent to the : carbon emissions from driving an average modern car for 6,000 miles water needed to fill over 1,000 bathtubs weight of over 100 pairs of jeans I couldn’t believe those figures when I first read them, it’s so detrimental to our earth When I think of the earth we live on, I feel such a deep connection to it, like I am its child and it’s here for me. I adore that they upcycle their past collections, donate any leftover materials to fashion colleges, re-purpose leftover fabric from past seasons to divert it from a lifetime in landfill whilst striving for workers’ rights, fair wages, good working conditions, and sustainable livelihoods.
