Possibly one of the best locations I’ve had the pleasure of shooting. Darlington Estate Winery nestled just 35 minutes from Perth CBD. A little rain is never a bad thing on a Wedding day, It’s actually good luck as it signifies a long lasting marriage. Umbrellas were ready and we were all marching down towards the vineyards greeted with a little bit of rain and fog caressing the hills in the distance.

This time enjoying the road-trip with some Travellers all the way from Singapore. I don’t usually shy away from a little rain on the day but,  I just wanted to make sure the shoot for these guys was the best they could experience. We caught up with Michael & Mache and discussed our plans for the shoot with a completely care-free attitude. We actually decided to venture to a location that we hadn’t scouted previously and thought to take the time to just kick-back and explore. Albany’s one of those places that you can literally rock-up anywhere and witness a truly picturesque scene, hence why you’ll always find me there. There were actually so many other little spots on the way in and out of our location that would have been amazing also!

Touching moments are shared in one room and celebrations can be revisited in the backyard. The organization of all the Wedding plans was Natra’s Mothers gift to her. How do you plan a day focused on an intimate moments with family and friends and still fit in a location shoot? Very lucky as Natra’s Mum and Fatimah were quite close friends in their younger days.

Recently we were traveling south toward Knoxville, Tennessee and decided to take a stretch break at Norris Dam State Park. This beautiful park in Rocky Top, Tennessee is just minutes off the Interstate and offers hiking trails, picnic areas, historic artifacts and places to get out and enjoy nature

We’ve started cleaning out the flower beds and getting the yard ready for spring entertaining and backyard adventures. Since we all have family members just like me who love to get their toes in the fresh turned garden dirt after a long winter, let’s find some gift ideas for gardeners. This is definitely not the most fun part of getting ready for Spring, but most of us have gas powered weed eaters, mowers, tillers, or chain saws that we are pulling out of the garage. We all love to sip on our water, lemonade or sweet tea while we’re out in the yard, but we don’t want gnats, bugs or flies getting in our drink.

One thing I absolutely love about doing what I do is learning about the different cultures. Zeynep stayed in her bridal room with her parents until Oktay came in to take her hand and lead her off to their own adventure together. We set out with a convoy of cars to a popular location at the Big Trees at the bottom of Kings Park for family photos. Our photoshoot ended with a beautiful sunset at a location Zeynep insisted on which was absolutely amazing.
