    Easter Brunch With Your Girlfriends

I invited my two favorite blogger gals Enocha of Locks and Trinkets and Elizabeth of A Keene Sense of Style to brunch at Manuela – a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Manuela brings southern charm to the Arts District with their locally-grown produce, and a variety of vintage furniture throughout the restaurant. No better way to celebrate the holiday than gathered with your best gals over a delicious meal and yummy lattes. It has a slight rose-tinted silvery-copper tone that has quickly made its way to my top favorite colors this season.

Getting Ready for Coachella with @TaylrAnne

It is time to pack our bags and groove all night to the best music in the business.. For a little fun, I am also packing Hold Out For More by OPI & a classic red– Thrill of Brazil, also by OPI. Another thing that will be draining is your iPhone, so be sure to pack a Mophie case or external battery. I love my Mophie case, it helps add some extra punch to my battery life while I'm out long days away from a charger.

  • The Beauty of Tough

While women have certainly been integrated into organized athletics at all skill levels, organized sport separates men and women into distinct leagues, teams, and categories – giving higher social regard to men’s participation. Why it matters on the job Tough Fitness activities have opened up new avenues for women to gain the athletic skills and resulting character traits that have in the past given men the ‘athletic advantage’ in the workplace. For women who have rarely or never participated in organized sport in the past, the barriers to entry in becoming a CrossFit, Spartan athlete or someone who trains like a fighter are minimal – yet women who choose to participate in these fitness endeavors are accumulating the same skills recognized as integral to success in the workplace – in spite of the fact that they haven’t participated in ‘traditional’ sport in the past. Women around the world are finding that participating in tough, gritty, back to basics fitness is not only allowing them to take back the standard definition of ‘beauty’, and level the playing field when it comes to business and work, but it is truly making them better people – better mothers, daughters, employees, bosses, sisters, wives and friends.

Since 1990, the number of mega-cities with more than 10 million inhabitants has tripled. These are the ‘halo’ locations that influence the world, because they have the biggest commercial relevance, see greater participation in sports, host major sports events and shape the global streetwear culture.
