    Stacey Mayer Artist

Her art shares the colors, dreams, and stories experienced through a lifetime exploring horses and animals of the American West. Her style was particularly distinct, even as a young child learning to draw the wild animals and ponies at the Seattle Woodland Park Zoo. Her equine art shows the influence of the champion Arabian, Appaloosa, Friesian, Haflinger, Morgan, Paint, Quarter horses, and Saddlebreds she once knew, like the famous stallions and mares Bear Paw, Calico Girl, Carolina Caberet, Chystal Vision, Ga'Zi, El Hilal, Khemosabi, Mondo, Although her work also includes wild birds, North American animals, native fish species, and even prehistoric animals of every type, her horses remain her trademark.

    Earth Goddess Color Palette

Earth Goddess color palette is perfect for any classic jewelry design. If you decide to acquire bead using the Earth color palette, you need to look for the following words in the color names of the beads: Try this sample list of beautiful Delica colors for your Delica beads project: What colors of garments would I choose to wear with beadwork created using the Earth Goddess color palette? I would avoid wearing pink, purple, and red every time I wear beadwork in the Earth Goddess palette.

    Beaded Cuff Bracelet

I selected and combined beads for the autumn color palette, but in the process, I realized the palette looks very classic to me. I selected and combined beads for the autumn color palette, but in the process, I realized the palette looks very classic to me. I wanted to make this cuff because Earth Goddess is my first cuff bracelet design using embroidery techniques and beads.

    Freezing Rain. Winter Garden Photography

Ice rain is a typical winter weather event that happens almost every year in the Pacific Northwest. I have a little garden, and I love to observe my plants any time of the year. This year snow covered all the spring flowers that appeared a bit early – in February. My garden didn’t look neat, but freezing rain changed my attitude towards the yard cleaning responsibilities.

Add one purple seed bead after each green seed bead String one purple seed bead, a drop bead, and one more purple seed bead. Then string one purple seed bead, and stitch through the next purple seed bead of the second row (added in Step 2). With your thread and needle exiting the purple seed bead stitch one drop bead, three purple seed beads, and one more drop bead. Pick up one green seed bead and stitch through the purple seed bead in the middle of the next group of three purple beads.

    White Feather Beaded Pendant

My new white feather beaded pendant continues the theme of fabulous colorful feathers in beadwork! Later on, I switched to Czech beads looking like pearls – 4 X 6 mm drop beads. The design is based on the similar idea I used for the peyote stitch pendant with orange feathers: peyote cylinder with decorative elements. Only this time, I used Cubic Right Angle Weave stitch for one of the design elements covering the peyote cylinder.

    Crystal Heart Pendant Free-form Design

I created this crystal heart pendant free-form design as a gift for a person very close to my heart. Free-form peyote beading is a technique that will always make creations unique because it is virtually impossible to replicate a beaded piece completed using this method. In the past, I also made Crystal Heart and Red Garnet necklace with the same color focal point. The classic silver and gold tones look attractive in my other necklace design with a crystal heart.

Svetlana Gallery 2020 Designs and Tutorials

Svetlana Gallery 2020 designs are all about sharing new beadwork ideas and helping you learn how to create new beaded jewelry! Also, taking into consideration that all the video tutorials I produced this year were free, I am not sure how am I going to support this website in the future. I certainly have to find a balance between my wish to give away my design ideas for free and the ability to support this gallery of ideas online. Meanwhile, I encourage you to subscribe to the Svetlana Gallery newsletter, because it is the best way to learn about my new designs, sales, and tutorials.

    Beaded Holiday Bow Tie Tutorial

Holiday Bow Tie tutorial is for everyone who loves Cubic Right Angle Weave and new holiday jewelry and accessories. Cubic Right Angle Weave and Others Cubic Right Angle Weave, or CRAW stitch, is the primary stitch for this tutorial. For the Holiday Bow Tie, you will also need to learn how to add CRAW units at a 90-degree angle, and how to join threads. To wrap a Rivoli crystal with beadwork, you can use my Peyote Stitch Tutorial for 12 mm Rivoli.

    Beading Without Swarovski Beads

Dedicated crafters never get fixed on one source of materials, even if that source is the best among the best! Besides stopping the distribution and possibly the production of crystals for crafters, artists won’t be able to use the Swarovski trademark to describe or advertise their artwork. Over the years, I concluded that the best crystal for my design is the one that interprets my idea the best way possible. The size of this Rivoli lets me create smaller, more elegant jewelry like Red and Gold pendant, Amazing Forest earrings, or Herringbone stitch and free-form pendant.
