Vancouver doubled up Toronto 4-2 and Anaheim beat Colorado in Colorado 5-4 in OT. 5.5 gave us a chance, a 2-2 tie would result in a 3-2 win one way or the other and a win for us, all these 5’s all of a sudden bear watching. With Fleury and Talbot in goal we had a much lower total predicted, in fact, we were projecting a 2-2 game with a third goal coming for one of the teams in OT which would have still left us under the 5.5 total but instead, the game did go to OT as projected, but the Knights won 5-4 in a high scoring affair against two solid goalies and defenses.. go figure? But Colorado didn’t win, San Jose scored four times in the 3rd period to crush them 6-2.
