I personally found the snorkeling by Mosquito Pier (aka the “rompeolas”) to be the most enjoyable since the water was calm, visibility was clear and there is a lot of wildlife under the pier. Punta Mulas is beautifully restored and has a small museum inside covering the nature of the island and maritime history.

While Prague is stunning and well worth a visit, there are rural areas outside of the main city that are equally, if not more worthwhile, depending on the experience you’re seeking. Views for days are what await you at the top of Radhošť Mountain, including peaks of the Beskydy Mountains, Jeseniky Mountains, the High Tatras Mountains and even the alpine peak of Schneeberg. At the top of the mountain you’ll find a stunning wooden chapel dating back to the late nineteenth century (1896-1898) called the Chapel of Cyril and Methodius. You’ll find sit-down restaurants close to the entrance if you’re looking for a proper meal after your hike or just want to toast to a day well spent with a Radegast beer.

Note that depending on when you visit there are several annual events throughout the year, like Art3 featuring local art in October, Art & Culinary Week in September and a winter market in November. I recently had the pleasure of staying at El Yunque View Treehouse in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.
