  • Fashion Staples You Should Always Pack for a Trip

If you invest in a good wristwatch, like one from the famous Italian jewelry store Pisa Orologeria for example, you’ll get more out of the cost per wear and have the gorgeous luxury piece. Pack a neutral pair that goes with all of your travel outfits, and if you have space, pack a fun pair that you can wear day or night and mix up your looks instantly with! You can wear jeans day or night and really dress them up or simply wear them casually. Consider what items you’ll truly wear while on this specific trip, and build around it with items that go together

The Incredible Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, Dwarka

Nageshwar Jyotirlinga temple is located in a place called Darukavanam, about halfway between Dwarka main city, where Shri Krishna administered and Beyt Dwarka, the island where He was supposed have resided. On a pilgrimage of all the 12 Jyotirlingas , Mr Gulshan Kumar (of T-Series music audio and video fame) reached this Nageshwar Jyotirlinga and seeing the sad state of the temple, decided that he would donate the money required to build a new building over the old. Once a very ardent devotee of Shiva, Namdev, was praying and singing in front of the Shivalingam and inadvertently obstructing the view of other devotees . It is an annual event in the honor of Lord Shiva held at all the Shiva temples in India and with more fervor in the Jyotirlingas. .

  • [My Top 20 Travel Experiences]

So without further ado, to commemorate 5 incredible years of travel blogging (Jeez – that’s like half a decade), here is a handpicked list of my favorite experiences. Click here to read about my incredible experience of traversing the wild terrain of Punta Gallinas – an extreme point of the world. It was a very humbling experience to share space with other volunteers and dogs back at the volunteer house, walking to the bar, exploring Borneo, and pretty much living like a local in Kuching and working with locals and other expats. So even though I was only interested in visiting this bucket list birding destination with my dad, since I was so close during my latest trip to the states, I decided to check it out for myself.

  • 'Work from Jungles' in Corbett

As soon as my parents and I stepped into the lovely Ranger’s lodge, we were greeted warmly by Mr. Imran Khan, the owner, and his wife. Mr. Khan has strongly supported sensible wildlife tourism as the best conservation tool post attaining his topical degrees in wildlife ecology, biology, management & human interspersions in wildlife conservation. Although Mr. Imran Khan has been involved in establishing quite a few resorts, one such resort needs to be mentioned categorically since he had planned it right from the layout to staff training, operations to marketing to the right segment of wildlife enthusiasts, garbage disposal to recycling of water from the guests usage by the simple indigenous technology. So be it for a short leisure holiday, a wonderful wildlife getaway with family, or experiencing long-term stay in the jungles, The Ranger’s Lodge is the answer.

12 Travel Stories from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Mexico and the Caribbean from 2020 to Inspire 2021

Read on to see how avid travelers in Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and the Caribbean found a way to travel and explore the great outdoors. I was supposed to take a road trip throughout New Zealand, visit a friend in Australia, and also spend some time traveling across Europe. Tamara made the most of her ‘work from home’ setup by converting her van into her new home and new office! Since international travel was off-limits this year, I decided it was the perfect time to explore my home province of Alberta and spend more time outdoors.

19 European Travel Stories from the COVID Pandemic: Road Trips and (mis) Adventures

COVID Test Challenges when traveling to Iceland during the pandemic Where were you planning to travel in 2020? Joyful travels in Europe despite the coronavirus pandemic With the majority of Europe under lockdown, and with borders opening up in clusters in the summer provided an opportunity to those living in Europe to explore their favorite cities minus international tourists. Our original plan for October (had our April trip pulled through) was either a trip to South Africa or one of the lesser-known regions in Italy, though luckily we hadn’t booked anything yet so we could easily reschedule our Portugal travel plans. Finally, we planned to spend the final days of our trip in Porto, however, we adjusted our itinerary as the number of COVID-19 cases in Porto increased during our trip.

  • Luxury in the lap of the Himalayas

Vatsyayana resorts is based on the ideology of the famous Indian philosopher Vatsyayana (of Kamasutra fame), which surely sets them apart from the usual mountain resort crowd. Vatsyayana resorts was build with the primary focus of becoming a unique adult-only escape with stunning 360-degree views of the Himalayas from every room (and even poolside, restaurant, and spa). Vatsyayana resorts have a sprawling terrace that offers not just a bird’s eye view of the valley below but also a clear view of the breathtaking night sky. Their four-poster bed with mosaic yellow lights (giving a candlelit ambiance), lovely washroom overlooking the Himalayas, all make for the perfect setting for building a deeper connection.

When borders were shut down, what did stranded travelers do in 2020?

Peru closed itself off from the world on March 16, 2020 and it wouldn’t open again until November 2, 2020. I made sure to hop on one of the first flights to the country after an international flight ban, a twenty-hour long-haul flight in the middle of the pandemic, and entered the country as one of the first foreigners during COVID times. While I thought the Philippines was a relatively safe place to ride out the pandemic, not having health insurance during a pandemic wasn’t a gamble I was willing to take. British group gets turned around from a ski trip in Northern Italy in March 2020 by Dave Chant from the UK What happened when you arrived in Italy for a ski trip as the coronavirus cases were surging and the country was locking down?
