🚨🚨”CAP”🚨🚨 For starters, I am thankful that the cost of insulin is being reviewed and talked about. Insulin is expensive and has been. Todays vote is part of the journey. 💙A journey that is not over💙 This “CAP” is really going to benefit many Americans. The Affordable Insulin Now Act is a START not a solution. 💉The “CAP” is on the cost to consumers at $35 a month or 25% of their insurers negotiated price 💉The “CAP” itself does not solve the astronomical issue of rising prescription drug prices. 💉 The bill is not fixing the root of the problem. Anyone else feel like getting to the minimum of 10 units takes forever? This life saving device is great. It takes a lot to maintain and manage it. I change my insulin every 3 days and my sites every 2.
