The Proposal at Little Bear Starting as one of our VIC's (Very Important Campers) these two were no strangers to Tentrr, and definintely not strangers to the Little Bear campsite in Kingston, New York. With the insider knowledge of the immacualte private swimming hole just a short walk from the campsite, this proposal was all planned out. Dannielle searched 'camping without the hassle' hoping to find something that provided ample equipment so they could safely test the water, and stumbled upon Tentrr. Located at the sister sites in East Branch, New York, Swimming Hole in the Sycamores and Riverside Retreat, the setting was absolutely breathtaking.
We also added new Backcountry sites in Nevada, New Mexico, Arizona and Texas and will add a bunch more in the coming year. Our "Tour de Tentrr" bike ride saw a small group of riders tackle a 245-mile route from the Catskills to the Taconic Mountains and the Berkshires over three days. Fans were asked to find the artworks to stand a chance to win a camping trip to explore the great outdoors and possibly see some woodland creatures in real life. Tentrr trips are about being surprised and delighted, so with this in mind we sent 150 New Yorkers on unmarked buses into the countryside – with the only instruction to "find the fireflies".

Cruising the countryside, taking in the blue skies and fall foliage and then, as evening drops, heading to a Halloween double feature at a drive-in, complete with movie themed cocktails. There are a host of train trips available to take during the fall – foliage trains, pumpkin trains, trick-or-treat trains, but there’s one that catches our eye. For those in western New Jersey, the Delaware River Railroad Excursions offer The Great Pumpkin Train, where kids can pick their own free pumpkins to take home, or best carved at a nearby Tentrr site around the campfire.
