Wondering what to wear for your PA school interview? You want to wear something that makes you feel confident and professional, without drawing attention to your outfit. It’s always better to be slightly overdressed than underdressed for an interview. Remember, the goal is to showcase your interview skills and qualifications, not your outfit.

A scribe position can be considered PCE depending on the role and the level of patient interaction involved. if the scribe position primarily focuses on transcribing medical notes without direct patient interaction or involvement in clinical decision-making, it may not be considered PCE. #rp

Some PA programs offer January start dates, which can provide applicants with the opportunity to start their studies earlier in the year without having to wait for a traditional fall semester start. However, you might find yourself in a pickle if you are offered a seat for your January start program, but your dream school has a fall start date. #rp

Double dipping hours refers to counting the same hours towards multiple categories or experiences when applying to PA school. This is not allowed in the application process because it can result in an inaccurate representation of your experiences and potentially mislead admissions committees. For example, if you work as a medical assistant and include those hours in both your patient care experience and shadowing experience sections, it may appear as if you have more hours than you actually do. #rp

Shadowing experience is typically required for PA school applications. PA programs value shadowing experiences as they provide applicants with insight into the PA profession, allowing them to observe the day-to-day responsibilities of a PA and gain a better understanding of the role. #rp

Can you submit your supplemental essays after you apply? Well, It depends on the school. Wouldn't it be nice if all schools were on the same page? *insert melting face emoji* #rp

It is so important that when you are entering courses into CASPA you are entering them EXACTLY how they are on your official transcripts! It is worth it to be meticulous and take your time! #rp

Remember, you can't project PCE hours - but you can include details in your application about ongoing patient care experiences and expected future hours in the experience details section if space allows! #rp
