    None All you need is a handful of ingredients to make this delicious smoothie, no running out to the store to find special ingredients, you likely already have everything you need in your kitchen. What you need to make this Strawberry Orange Smoothie Frozen Banana: Frozen banana is my go to ingredient for almost all smoothies. Rather than using orange juice in this smoothie, adding an entire peeled orange adds flavour and helps to thicken it, plus the orange pulp is high in fiber. None Coconut Milk or Coconut Cream: although this smoothie recipe is already very thick and creamy, if you want to make it extra indulgent add in coconut milk.

    Weekly Meal Plan: March 29th - April 4th

    Make sure you buy lots of cauliflower because we are using it in a simple 20 minute soup on Monday, a Whole30 Paella dish that tastes just like the real thing on Tuesday and “Couscous” Eggplant rolls on Wednesday. Fridays Sweet Chili Salmon is a recipe from my cookbook that is easy to make and a great dish to feed a crowd. An oven-baked side of Sweet Chili Salmon from my cookbook (page 234) is one of my favorite main dishes to serve guests because it’s so easy and quick to prepare, and it always looks impressive. This dish is Paleo, Whole30, Grain Free, Gluten Free, Dairy Free and Specific Carbohydrate Diet Legal.

    These Banana, Almond Butter & Raspberry Muffin Bars are deliciously moist and flavourful thanks to the batter which is loaded with banana, swirls of almond butter and chunks of raspberries. These Paleo Muffin Bars are Grain Free, Gluten Free, Dairy Free and Specific Carbohydrate Diet Legal. They are Paleo, Grain Free, Gluten Free, Dairy Free and Specific Carbohydrate Diet Legal, but you would never know! As a general rule when using frozen berries in baking I recommend rinsing the berries before adding them to the batter to prevent the colour from bleeding into the batter.

    Paleo Easter Dinner Menu (Gluten Free - Grain Free)

    The lamb is marinated in a simple lemon & herb garlic mixture, roasted in the oven and served with a vibrant mint chimichurri sauce. When it comes to easy oven roasted veggies, both these Roasted Radishes and Roasted Carrot are great side dishes for an Easter feast. These mini Mini Tarts with Lemon Curd have an almond flour shell, are filled with a bright lemon curd and topped with fresh berries. The Lemon Layered Cake with Strawberry Filling and Ombre Icing is deliciously moist with a bold kick of lemon flavour and icing is make from coconut whip.

    Weekly Meal Plan: March 22nd - 28th (Whole30 - Paleo)

    This weeks meal plan is packed with my all time favourite pasta dish, a fun spin on tacos for Taco Tuesday, a comforting 30 minute soup, and my go-to spicy chicken drumstick recipe. This Butternut Squash Pasta with Alfredo Sauce is a healthy grain and dairy free spin on pasta with alfredo sauce is so comforting. This one pot soup takes just 30 minutes to make and is Whole30, Paleo, Grain Free, Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Keto and Specific Carbohydrate These Sun-dried Tomato & Basil Chicken Meatballs in a Chunky Pesto Sauce are packed with chopped sun-dried tomatoes and basil and smothered in a chunky pesto sauce.

    Brussels Sprout & Bacon Egg Muffins (Paleo - Keto)

    These Brussels Sprout & Bacon Egg Muffins are packed with lots of shredded brussels sprouts and crispy bacon and have a light texture thanks to the egg based batter. I went from hating brussels sprouts as a child, to being the girl who tries to find as many ways as possible to include them in things, they are just so good (when prepared properly aka not steamed or boiled). While I have lots of appetizers, salads, side dishes and snacks on the site that use brussels sprouts, I wanted to find a way to use them in baking. I am so happy with how these muffins turned out, they are light and fluffy in texture and packed with shredded sautéed brussels sprouts and pieces of crispy bacon.

    Weekly Meal Plan: March 15th - 21st (Whole30 - Paleo)

    Weeknight dinners also include a vegan and Whole30 Mac and Cheese, a light salad with a unique dressing and a Salmon Nicoise traybake that takes just 30 minutes to prepare. Chicken Souvlaki served with a dairy free tzatziki that you will swear tastes just like the real thing and Middle Eastern Stuffed Eggplant which are great for reheating for lunch the next day. It’s packed with lots of kale, onion, carrots and wispy egg plus juicy chicken meatballs all simmered in a light lemon chicken broth. This salad can be served as a light appetizer or side salad and is Paleo, Vegan, Grain Free, Gluten Free, Dairy Free and Whole30.
