    allergy-friendly easter bark

Spring has sprung, and Easter is around the corner…which means it’s time to make Easter desserts! To make this Easter bark, I used their limited edition individually wrapped holiday squares, and they were perfect. You could truly add whatever you’d like to your Easter bark. Get out all of your bark toppings, and prepare them as necessary (crush up pretzels, etc)Place 3/4 of your chocolate in a microwave safe bowl, and microwave in 30 second intervals until fully melted, stirring often.

    This Week's Top 10

It goes until Sunday and you can enter to win a Rudder USA Sweatshirt + Hat, and a Paul Landry long sleeve tee + duffel bag! I mentioned this in my IG stories already, but in my application, I talked about how I’ve been doing this for 9 years and while my community is small, so many of you are so loyal and truly have become friends of mine over the years, so I think being a part of the Sephora Squad would be an amazing way for me to grow this platform and in turn, produce better content for all of you! Speaking of Sephora, I am going to do a dive into my current skincare and beauty faves in their own blog post next week, but for now, this lip balm actually makes for the dewiest, loveliest cream blush (obsessed), and this face wash is my holy grail. Is it a sign I should finally get the mini bucket bag I've been wanting for years!?

    10 Days

2012 Fran hadn’t yet made lifelong best friends, fallen in love, witnessed divorce or experienced heartbreak, gone to college, made more best friends, or grown-up literally, at all. Kopp's, played a lot of Field Hockey, had some wild nights at Trinity, stood in the pouring rain for hours at Summerfest to hear my favorite song, earned first place at one of my water ballet competitions in middle school (THAT was exciting), cheered at Brewer’s games, drank Spotted Cow, hosted annual cookie exchange parties for my best friend's and their mom's, attended sleepaway camp for years in a row (the archery pic I am laughing), the list goes on… I think it’s important for me to move on from a place where my family has entirely left, where my career isn’t (at least right now), in order to pursue new things and discover what I’m going to do with my life. While it’s sad right now and definitely not going to be easy from the get-go, I just know that I would never be fully satisfied if I never left Milwaukee, and now that my family has left, it’s a good time for me to go, too.

I Signed a Lease in NYC! (Answering all of your Questions)

I emailed Loftey a few months ago, got set up with an agent, had a couple phone calls to talk about what I wanted, what I could afford, etc, and then my agent sent me about a dozen apartments that both he and I found on Street Easy. Also, my agent helped me understand the pros and cons of certain apartments... which way the windows face, what type of building we are looking at, how loud certain streets are, and so much more. I don't feel comfortable sharing exact numbers because everyone's financial situation is so different, but I will say that I am suuuper grateful that I was able to live at home for the past six months and save up money. For me, I am so excited to live downtown in a smaller, more expensive apartment with character over a luxury building uptown with a gym, full rooftop, laundry, doorman, etc...

    This Week's Top 10

First of all, in reference to the photo above, I've been following the Lady Gaga dog walker / french bulldog story and it is SO terrible. Makes me soo sad to hear about the french bulldog situation in our country but also happy to hear the dog walker is recovering! Beside that, I have been in a particularly good mood this morning because last night I got drinks and dinner with Elizabeth, which is always fun, and then this morning I practiced my new morning routine that I am obsessed with! A couple of you even mentioned you were waiting on the March mood board, so yesterday I kicked off the March content with the March Moodboard, which you can find here!

    March Moodboard (Desktop Wallpaper!)

and I have spent the last two weeks crying both happy and sad tears and making lots of plans... Anyway, that said, this month I am trying to stay really positive, focus on myself, and curate good vibes to keep a positive mindset. March can be a dreary month, but it can also mean the start of spring and warmer temps, so green, positive vibes are what I am choosing to manifest! if you make this your desktop or phone wallpaper, it brightens my day more than you know.
