If Contestant entered via Instagram, Winner will be notified by direct message on Instagram followed by an additional communication via email, once an email address is provided by the Winner to CLWI. If Campaign entry was submitted by email, Winner will be notified by email,  CLWI shall have no liability for Winner’s failure to receive notices due to inactivity or other security settings or for Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. ’s participation in the Campaign, including but not limited to: (i) Contestant’s acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (v) electronic or human error in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances shall Contestant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorney’s fees, other than Contestant’s actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering this Campaign).

So it makes sense that we’d launch a partnership with radical collaborators at the influential non-profit Lonely Whale to expand awareness about eliminating single-use plastic bottles wherever, whenever possible. Ocean Heroes HQ held the first-ever Ocean Heroes New York City Meetup, bringing together young activists from all five boroughs for a 2-day program that spanned the Explorers Club and the international NGO Peace Boat, in Special Consultative status with the United Nations. Over 300 students from 20 different countries were in attendance for the two-day immersive program, including our Earth Day Design Challenge Winner Brandon, to learn more about taking action for the ocean.
