Hi, ladies! My name is Brook Alyson Heath, otherwise known as The Wellness Mama. I created this Pack to encourage women to take control of their heath & happiness and make themselves a priority (for ONCE!). Self-care is a necessity, not a luxury! As women, how often do we put the needs of others before our own? All the time, right? It’s something that I’m still guilty of from time to time too, but the truth is that when we continually put our own needs last, we’re risking our own sense of well-being. That should no longer be something we’re willing to sacrifice! It doesn’t mean that the people around us are any less important. It just means that you respect and love yourself as well, which to me is the epitome of what being a strong, empowered woman is. When you continually put yourself 2nd, you’re setting yourself up for depression, stress, anxiety, exhaustion, illness, and a serious lack of motivation, from giving away all your time to others without taking the time needed to refuel & renew. You can’t be your best self for others if you don’t try to be your best self for YOU.

Self-care can take on many different meanings depending on who you are as an individual, but no matter how it is that you choose to love yourself, make sure it’s something that really speaks to your heart! Here are some ways that you can start loving yourself more today:

•Wake up early (but please do get your beauty rest) & have a cup of tea. Enjoy the quite time, reflect on the day ahead, read your Bible, listen to music, or write in your journal.

•Have a morning & nightly skincare routine (don’t sleep in your makeup!!) using ONLY all-natural & organic products! Set aside the time it takes to do each step and make it your time without distractions. Don’t forget to Mask!

•Get up and get ready even if you’re not going anywhere! Get out of those jammies you’ve had on for days, take a shower or hot bath, put on a little makeup (or a lot. Whatever makes you happy.), and dress to impress. Who cares if you’re not leaving the house. This is about you!

•Call your girlfriends and have a girl’s night. •Read amazing books that get you out of your head and stimulate your imagination.

•Have a hobby! Crafting, fishing, playing sports, shopping, painting, being active in your church, or even volunteering.

•Exercise!! I cannot stress this enough! When you love what you see in the mirror, it makes you feel better as a whole and radiates a happiness & confidence that’s contagious to those around you.

•Make the conscious decision to start eating more fresh fruits & veggies and less processed food. Not only will you feel more energetic, but your skin will glow, nails & hair will grow stronger, and be fueling your body with the necessary nutrients it needs, but you’ll be helping to prevent many illnesses that can arise from not eating right.

•Stop bottling up your feelings and instead start talking about them! You matter.

•STOP PUTTING YOURSELF DOWN!! Don’t say things to yourself that you wouldn’t want said to someone you love. Positive affirmations are everything. You’re a queen, beautiful, brilliant, and so enough!

•Take a daily vitamin. Sounds simple, right? But most don’t get their daily intake of vitamins & minerals from food alone. Taking a Women’s Vitamin & other supplements (like CBD) can help to ensure optimal health. OH and be sure to get your yearly Wellness checkup!

However it is that you self-care, do it with the intention of knowing your health & happiness are important and is the very first key to being your best self and living your very best life!
