The weather is starting to warm up in NY and I am officially dreaming of spring and summer. If you have been here for a while, you know that I prefer to wear dresses to denim in the warmer months. I am also feeling optimistic about getting back out and going to social events (after a year long hiatus!) and have rounded up some of the prettiest, affordable spring dresses for every occasion.

Since March is rolling around the corner, and I’m likely going to release this episode early March So yes, today’s episode is going over the 3 tasks and goals I’ve set for myself in March. Anyways, let’s dive in to the 3 things I’m doing in March 2021 for my business. When I first started putting together the notes and ideas for this episode, I originally intended to have 5 goals for March, but now I’m starting to get the sense that I’m putting too much on my plate if I do more, so I’m going to leave it at 3 goals.

Since I’m a business student, I think it’s valuable to preface this post with a little introduction on how the housing market has been affected by COVID, and what expectations we can have for the next while. According to some data from the National Association of Realtors (in the US), housing prices and sales are likely to increase in the first few quarters of 2021, but then fall in comparison for the latter half of 2021 into 2022. If you’re unable to provide those statements from the past 2-3 years, then you need a good credit history and provide a minimum down payment of 10%. Specifically, according to Real Estate Wire, “Homebuyers are required to contribute a 10 per cent down payment on the portion of the price of a home above $500,000, plus 5 per cent on the amount up to that amount.

Moving can be extremely exhausting for everyone, especially now during a pandemic where you are trying to virtually teach your children, work from home, attempt to pack, and everything else! Hire a babysitter, family, or friend to help watch your kids if they are little to give you time to pack items that need to get done. You could also ask if you can set up a playdate with neighborhood kids to watch your child while you pack items as well. It’s a lot easier and safer to have the kids out while moving things around and out of your home.

The more you do this and feel the love and appreciation for what you want before it’s manifested, the quicker it manifests; including true self-love and worth. Once you begin embodying the characteristics and lifestyle that your “dream” version of you lives, you’ll soon begin realizing you are living that life already and the gap between dream and reality gets smaller and smaller with each day. You’ll begin to notice that as you improve your self-love, a lot of people may begin to walk out of your life. It’s not a “waste of makeup” if it’s making you feel happier and boosts your self-love.

I am not sure if I will use because I am also bringing disposable underwear and will use the ones at the hospital, but I wanted to have them just in case. Many suggested bringing the pillow you plan to use at home for nursing so that you can use it and troubleshoot in the hospital if needed. The rest of the time I plan to use the hospital blankets because I am anticipating a lot of unwrapping by me, JD, nurses, and doctors, and a lot of spit ups! Besides his toiletries, he is just going to bring 2 comfortable outfits (likely t-shirts/sweatshirts/joggers), clothes to sleep in, pillow, blanket, his AirPods, Yeti cup and cash for vending machines/food.

Nothing beats a good cup of hot chocolate on a cool day, especially a winter’s or snowy day. Valentine’s Day is a great time to make Valentine’s hot cocoa bombs. As far as preparing for delivery, I did read that eating 5-6 dates per day in the late third trimester can help with cervical ripening and postpartum blood loss. I will be taking 16 weeks of maternity leave from my full time job at the clinic, and some time off from posting on my blog/instagram. I started eating dairy again in the first trimester because I felt like my body was craving it, but gave it up completely around 30ish weeks and have had MINIMAL reflux since.
