It’s only been a couple of years since I decided to wear turtlenecks and even plain white long sleeve shirts underneath my tops, Micah claims it’s an aging thing, but I considered it flare. It was a good weekend with Micah, walking around, site seeing, visiting all the cool-home grown parts. I can’t wait to see them clash and create a mixture of girl-gone-rock. The top is a mixture of green and mustard, which ties very nicely with the flare bottom jeans, and brown-heel boots. The city was full of wonderful artwork, beautiful shops, and a culture that inspired me and fueled me with a hint creativity.

The secret is out and people are flocking to thrift stores and Facebook Marketplace to score some great second hand furniture. Though the chairs needed a bit of work, the owner had a dog that chewed up some of the chair legs, the bones of the chair were in great condition. This print has allll the colors I love in our home and has a fun, yet modern boho edge unseen in the other prints I looked at. This chair is looking so fabulous in our living room, but I can’t wait to get the dining room all cleaned up to set the chairs there instead.

Another tip would be to get things that you know your little one will use in the sun, so bubbles, sun hats, or swim diapers would be a few things y’all can include in baskets! Yesterday I was soaking up the sun in lovely 70 degree weather and today it’s sleeting, windy, and cold. Because I have been in a kick to be a more consistent blogger, I decided to keep things indoors and grace you all with another makeup look. Spring cleaning has always been my favorite because it gives me a chance to get rid of the clutter and revamp my closet. It’s also the perfect time to consider getting rid of clothes I didn’t wear last year. My boots, studded, gave all the rock feels the band tee needed. And as spring sets to come, I’m entering a stage where change is needed.

This time, they are paired in a more street-style form, which brings you a mix of relax and rock.
