Highlights
  • How to Drink Coole Swan Irish Cream Liqueur

I had been meaning to try Coole Swan when I saw it was named the Number 1 cream liqueur in the world by Wine Enthusiast Magazine 2020. Warm Irish Whiskey takes you into the next sip, where it all begins again Disclaimer: Some of these posts contain affiliate links and as an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases. • Royal Spring Flush with Royalmount Gin

With Spring officially here in Toronto, you can expect to see a ton of Gin cocktail recipes shared on the Liquid Culture platforms. With Royalmount Gin infused with Rose and Cucumber, I highlight this in the Royal Spring Flush Cocktail. Having the essence of a Gin and Tonic, I dress it up with additional Rose Water, Rose pedal Ice Cubes (optional) plus White Cranberry Juice! This is a VERY easy cocktail to throw together, and expect many more Royalmount Gin cocktail creations soon!

  • How to Drink Italicus With Giuseppe Gallo

So I’m so excited to have you here, the person who invented Italicus with me, and I’d love to hear a little bit about how you got to the point where you even wanted to invent a new spirit or a new category. this is what it looks like, this is what it smells like, and I want to create a brand Italicus, which is going to make every single Italian that lives in Italy, or outside Italy like myself, when they are going to look the bottle, when they’re going to read the name, they’re going to say that’s an Italian brand and you’ve got to make them proud. Italicus is the only brand ever in the history which won best new product at the Tales of the Cocktail in New Orleans, Best European Product in Berlin, Best New Product Italy, Best New Product in Spain, Portugal, and UK in the first 10 months since the launch. Giuseppe: I didn’t believe it at the beginning when they told me coconut water, then I saw on the flavor profile of bergamot, it says that actually coconut is one of the closest flavor profiles because coconut also brings some tannins and actually they match very well.

  • Celebrate Frederick Douglass & the Underground Railroad in Rochester

But few names have lasted in our history books as predominantly as Frederick Douglass and Susan B. Anthony. Harriet Tubman & the Sewards: A Friendship Made Along the Underground Railroad in Auburn 4: Uncover History at these Underground Railroad Sites in Syracuse 5: Retracing the Footsteps of Frederick Douglass and the Underground Railroad in Rochester If you’d like to learn even more about Frederick Douglass, I highly encourage you to check out Frederick Douglass’s Rochester, a year-long project by Open Mic Rochester and CITY newspaper. They honor the likes of Frederick Douglass and Susan B. Anthony all throughout town.

    Columbus Day Trip Itinerary

When we went it was me, JP, my brother, my sister, and her 3 kids who are all 4 and younger. Here are some of my favorite photos of the day with the babies: Fun fact about the Columbus Zoo is that Jack Hanna essentially used to run it. I assume that everyone knows who Jack Hanna because he’s been all over tv like late night shows, Good Morning America, and even Maury! When we went the WHOLE family went: me, JP, my mom, Camdyn, my brother, my other brother and his daughter, and my sister and her 3 kids.

European Bucket List: 125 Cool Things to do in Europe

Situated 150 metres above the River Sure, this castle offers some fantastic views of the surrounding area which is why it is a must visit attraction in Europe. Awesome Zip Lines Around the World Alicante is known for its great architecture and art scene, and one of the best places to experience it is on Calle San Francisco, better known as “Mushroom Street”. If you have a need for speed, you’ll want to check out the world’s fastest zip line at Zip World Penrhyn Quarry in the town of Bethesda. The Medieval Pembroke Castle is a noteworthy castle in Wales to visit as it is the only castle in Britain to be built over a natural cavern.

  • How To Start A Financial Fast

If you are wondering how to pay off debt and/or looking to improve your spending and set yourself on a path to financial success, a financial fast might be a good idea for you. For example, if seeing influencers and ads on Instagram makes you want to spend with reckless abandon, consider deleting the app for a few weeks or setting up a time limit to lessen your doom scrolling. There are several different budgeting methods, including the 50/30/20 rule, which suggests putting 50% toward what you need, 30% toward what you want, and 20% toward savings and debt repayment, and the envelope system, which has you set aside cash in different envelopes by category and allows you only to spend what’s in each envelope. Take time to focus on the things you really need to spend money on, like groceries and rent, and the things you could probably give up for a while, like fancy dinners out and extra-foam lattes.

    Discovering Hidden Gems

We created a stop by stop itinerary of the full Road to Hana loop, including where to stop for food, which you can check out HERE. It leads you to some amazing places like Kapalua, Honolua Bay, Iao Valley State Park, Petroglyphs, and the Nakalele Blowhole. Some things we didn’t get around to doing, but really wanted to do was wine tasting at Maui Wine and visit the Lavender Farm. Operating hours for many places were still reduced when we visited due to the pandemic, so in normal times we definitely would have been able to fit these into our 6 day itinerary.

  • Coconut Mint Boozy Iced Coffee with Licor 43

For today, I tried to create something that didn’t use just a “dash” of Licor 43, so I made this Coconut Mint Iced Boozy Cocktail that is hard not to love. Since I still had my bottle of Real’s Cream of Coconut around, I thought it would compliment the flavours going on in this Coconut Mint Boozy Iced Coffee. Choosing your Base Spirit for this Coconut Mint Boozy Iced Coffee I played around with this component for a bit. Since this cocktail has such strong flavours going on, you don’t want a spirit that will hide in this Coconut Mint Boozy Iced Coffee.

  • Yes, There Really Is A Difference in Glassware

I find it offers a nose of caramel, vanilla, and oak, a mouthing of caramel, fruit, and vanilla, and a palate of vanilla, caramel, toffee, corn, and oak. I picked up caramel, vanilla, toffee, corn, and oak, and the narrow mouth helps aim the liquid across my palate versus everywhere in my mouth, allowing me to pick out the individual flavors. I was able to pick up vanilla, caramel, and oak, and didn't find anything in terms of alcohol burn. I was able to pick up all of the expected flavors of corn, vanilla, caramel, toffee, and oak.
