I don’t do as much needle felting these days, but I couldn’t resist making these adorable catnip toys. I personally am a huge fan of Peeps so when I saw these made in a felting group Then I paired it with two different styles of felted Easter egg toys. If you simply leave them unstuffed, this craft makes for super cute springtime and Easter decorations.

The weather is starting to warm up in NY and I am officially dreaming of spring and summer. If you have been here for a while, you know that I prefer to wear dresses to denim in the warmer months. I love playing with melt and pour soap because it’s so easy to use. I therefore love to find new objects to make into soap, which is how I came up with this candy soap idea. High above the city, with a replica of Michelangelo’s David, Piazzale Michelangelo offers stunning views of Florence’s old town. It’s a popular tourist spot but it’s still worth visiting as its one of the few places where you can marvel at the beautiful city strewn out at your feet. It’s a beautiful way to see the old city from a different vantage point and is a peaceful experience in the midst of a busy city. Not only is the wine delicious, but the Chianti region brings any romantic notion of Tuscany to life with rolling, green hills and rugged vineyards studded with rustic, old buildings.

I’m bringing this blog series back because I’ve been SO inspired lately by a few people’s personal style. I’m kicking off the series reboot with Drew Ginsburg. She is the mastermind behind the cult favorite statement accessory brand Dylanlex.
